This program is designed to provide the graduate with knowledge, skills, and attributes essential to pursue and develop their management careers in the music field. It lays a foundation for their careers in the music field by offering various subjects from historical background, function, and application to choral and instrumental pieces.

Through this program, the graduates will be able to understand the principles of the modern music same as the extemporaneous music to analyze various issues related to the music field, and to identify and apply the concepts and theories of composition and instruments. They will have the opportunity to work and participate in presentations, shows, and concerts.

Degree Requirements

•  Successfully complete a minimum of 92 quarter units of the following coursework with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale:

o  Complete 28 quarter units of general education courses
o  Complete 52 quarter units of common core courses.
  ♦  28 units of required courses
  ♦  24 units of elective courses
o  Complete 12 quarter units of unrestrictive electives.

•  Successfully complete the degree requirements within the time limit.

Time Limit

The AA in Sports Management program must be completed within two years from the time the student commenced the first course, as a regular student, which applies to the degree requirements. This time limit, at the option of the university, may be extended due to special extenuating circumstances.
